Summer Art Camp at the AGO Art Gallery of Ontario 317 Dundas Street West http://www.ago.net Monday June 29 – Friday August 21, 2009 9:00am – 4:00pm Ages: 6 – 13 270.00 – 335.00 The transformed AGO is full of inspiration for young artists. Let the gallery take your kids on an exciting journey that celebrates their imagination. Summer Camps at Harbourfront Harbourfront Centre 235 Queens Quay West http://www.harbourfrontcentre.com Monday June 29 – Friday September 4, 2009 Ages: 4 – 17 Cost: $210.00 - $475.00 Add some magic to your kids summer by signing them up for one of the numerous summer camps offered down at Harbourfront Centre. Harbourfront Centre offers a wide range of arts-based, specialty, marine and sports camps all summer long. Your child can learn to kayak, act in a theatre production, become a fashion designer or express him or herself through writing.
Summer Clay Camp At The Gardiner Museum Gardiner Museum 111 Queen’s Park http://www.gardinermuseum.on.ca Saturday July 4 – Thursday August 27, 2009 Ages: 7 – 14 $215.00 - $250.00 (Fees include all materials and firing) Children can check into the Gardiner Museum for one of their week long half day camps. Campers will learn about clay through hands-on projects led by professional ceramic artists. Participants at all levels of experience--including absolute beginners--will learn the techniques of creating ceramic art by forming and decorating their own hands-on projects in clay.

Summer Drama School At LKTYP Lorraine Kimsa Theatre for Young People 165 Front Street East http://www.lktyp.ca Monday March 16 - Friday March 20, 2009 Ages: Grades JK to 2 (9:00am – 12:00pm) | Grades 3 to 6 (9:00am to 3:30pm) $295.00 - $620.00 Summer camps at LKTYP are perfect for young actors! Participants will create and play all day while being introduced to theatre through improvisation, theatre games, playwriting, music and song, puppetry and other theatrical adventures. There are several different programs for kids of different ages ranging from 5 – 10 day sessions.

Summer Opera Camp At The COC Joey and Toby Tanenbaum Opera Centre 227 Front Street East http://www.coc.ca July 13 – 17, 2009 (ages 7 to 10) July 20 – 24, 2009 (ages 11 to 13) 9:00am – 3:30pm $150.00 per week This one-week camp features daily music and drama sessions, as well as design, movement and makeup workshops. Under the guidance of professional artists, participants will rewrite, reconstruct and present their spin on a classic opera.
Summer YMCA Day Camps Various locations throughout the city http://www.ymcatoronto.org Wednesday June 29 – Friday September 4, 2009 $76.00 - $380.00 The YMCA is known for its phenomenal programs for kids and this summer there is an endless selection of things for your kids to do through the organization. First up there are outdoor day camps that are set in Toronto’s finest parks and conservation settings, campers in outdoor camps enjoy a traditional YMCA Day Camp experience with an emphasis on activities that help children and youth discover and enjoy the natural environment. Outside not their thing? The YMCA also offers a variety of indoor camps that keep kids of all ages active and engaged in the gymnasiums, swimming pools and activity rooms at the YMCA Health Fitness and Recreation Centres and Secondary Schools.
