Beaches International Jazz Festival
Beaches International Jazz Festival is a one-stop shop for fun and entertainment. The festival has grown steadily since that first year into a prominent cultural event that annually hires around 700 artists and attracts an audience of over 1 million fans. It runs from Friday July 18th until Sunday July 27th.

Buskerfest
The wacky and wonderful world of BuskerFest returns to take over the city from Thursday August 21st until Sunday August 24th. The 9th Annual Scotiabank BuskerFest will dazzle the historic St. Lawrence Market district as buskers from all over the world take over the streets in support of Epilepsy Toronto.

Caribana Festival
The Caribana Festival is an exciting two-week cultural explosion of Caribbean music, cuisine, revelry as well as visual and performing arts. Think sizzling music, colourful costumes and performances that will lift your soul and set your spirit ablaze. Caribana takes over Toronto from Tuesday July 15th until Sunday August 3rd.

Chinese Lantern Festival
The master craftsmen of Zigong, China have returned to Toronto to transform Ontario Place into a spectrum of wondrous illumination! If you have missed it in the past make sure you take the opportunity to check out the incredibly popular Chinese Lantern Festival between Thursday July 31st until Sunday October 12th.

Toronto Pride Festival
Perhaps the biggest summer event is Toronto's annual Pride Week which brings in hundreds of thousands of visitors from across the globe. There's 10 days of world class arts and cultural programming, community activities, one of the worlds largest street festivals, Pride Parade and Dyke March, Family programming, and much more.

Summerlicious

Taste of the Danforth
The Taste of the Danforth festival is a Toronto summer fave celebrating the multicultural diversity of Toronto. Of course it is known for tasty Greek cuisine like souvlaki and spanakopita but you can also find lots of Indian, Cuban and Thai stops set up along the Danforth over the weekend. Be warned this celebration is known to attract massive crowds! Watch out for it from Friday August 8th until Sunday August 10th...

Toronto Downtown Jazz Festival
From Friday June 20th until Sunday June 29th the Toronto Jazz Festival takes over Toronto with over 350 concerts, many of them free. Expect more than 1,500 musicians performing at more than 40 locations across the city.

Toronto Outdoor Art
Now in its 47th year, the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition [TOAE] is a juried showcase featuring contemporary fine art and craft that takes place on Nathan Phillips Square every July. The largest outdoor art exhibition in Canada returns for another year from Friday July 11th until Sunday July 13th.

Woofstock Festival
Woofstock, a festival for dogs, will be unleashed Saturday June 7th and Sunday June 8th throughout Toronto's Historic St. Lawrence Market Neighbourhood complete with everything a cool canine needs to live well in this dog-eat-dog world. It's pretty much North America's biggest doggie love-in.
