Cummer Skateboard Park is designed with youth in mind and was constructed to address the needs of the skateboarding community both in the local area and across Toronto. By promoting a sense of stage and practice area, Cummer Skateboard Park offers an alternative to skateboarding in streets and parking lots.

The multi-purpose facility includes a fitness centre, indoor pool, meeting rooms and an arena. The adjacent park has playing fields for baseball and soccer, and tennis courts.

The hours of the Cummer Skateboard Park are stated as daylight hours only. The park is not lit at night. The park is unsupervised.
